Infrastructure 360º Awards

The Infrastructure 360° Awards promotes sustainable infrastructure projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. Developed jointly with the Harvard Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure, it identifies, assesses and rewards investments made by the private sector and public-private partnerships in the IDB Group's 26 borrowing member countries.

beyondBanking Awards

Now in its fifth year, the beyondBanking Awards honors the most sustainable environmental, social and corporate governance projects implemented by financial intermediaries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Financial intermediaries may include commercial banks, investment funds and capital market issuers.

Corporate Governance

Through its corporate governance program, the IIC promotes SME sustainability and offers real support for improving their access to financing. Family-owned companies can receive one-on-one technical assistance, through the FINPYME Family Business program, which provides tailored advice to address their specific corporate governance needs.


Over the years, the IIC has identified a number of key areas in which companies are often in need of assistance. In response, the IIC put together a comprehensive package of value-added services for SMEs under the FINPYME brand.


GREENPYME is the IIC’s innovative energy efficiency program designed to provide the expertise, tools, as well as the technological and financial support your company needs to implement energy efficiency measures.


FINPYME Credit is the IIC’s small loan program designed to
provide competitive financing to SMEs in amounts from
US$100.000 to US$600.000. The program supports small
companies that want to expand their sales by financing
investments in working capital as well as fixed assets.


BASE Forum

The BASE Forum is the leading platform in the region for discussing how to do business differently. Every two years this IDB Group’s event gathers companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and government representatives to share lessons learned and discuss how to continue innovating with profitable business models that improve the quality of life of the people at the base of the pyramid.



The FINPYME Forum aims to improve access to finance for SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean by providing a dynamic space for dialogue and exchange of the latest knowledge, global expertise and best practices in financial innovation that can help financial intermediaries throughout the region to improve risk management capacities and customer service in order to expand their SME portfolios.


Sustainability Week

The IIC has been championing environmental and social risk management training for financial intermediaries in Latin America and the Caribbean for more than 18 years, alongside offering corporate governance training for companies since 2010. Combining theory, case studies, and group dynamics, Sustainability Week provides a clear understanding of environmental and social sustainability issues and the necessary steps toward achieving effective governance..
